Hannah is the Director of Programs at Unusual Ventures where she is focused on building programs that support and educate budding entrepreneurs at every stage in their founding journey. Hannah is obsessed with the psychology behind career development and how we get ready for and succeed in the world of work. She began her career at Venture for America where she selected and supported hundreds of recent college graduates as they joined startup teams around the US. Then, she deepened her knowledge on career readiness at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she focused her studies on the role of post-secondary education in preparing young people to enter the world of work. Most recently, Hannah was the 12th hire at Bravely, a company that provides professional coaching to employees at all levels. In addition to her Ed.M. from HGSE, Hannah holds a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College.

Why Unusual?

I am excited about joining the team at Unusual for so many reasons -- the people, the process, the vision, the values -- the list goes on. I knew immediately upon meeting the team that this was a firm where I could build best-in-class programs to support entrepreneurs, especially those at the very beginning stages of their careers. Unusual's excitement about the university audience specifically was what sealed the deal for me!
