Today, we are excited to announce our full participation in the Series B investment in Relyance AI as they extend their leadership in data privacy and security and lead the charge on AI Governance. It’s been an honor to support Abhi and team since day 1 on their mission to ensure companies can be trusted to handle sensitive personal data safely in their software and, increasingly, in their AI models.

Data privacy started as a response to regulations like GDPR, where every company doing business in the EU had to prove that they were processing personal data securely and with proper controls. Now, of course, AI is supercharging the discussion around the appropriate use of data in a company’s AI models. AI in the enterprise has tremendous innovation potential, but the reality is that many projects are stalling due to the inability to prove that personal data, crucial for AI model training, is being handled securely and in compliance with ever-shifting regulations and increasing customer expectations.
