Jennifer Snodgrass is an Administrative Assistant at Unusual Ventures, managing all daily office operations, while providing support to the Unusual team in a variety of ways. Passionate about advocating on behalf of youth who are in foster care, Jennifer sits on a board for Health Education Advocates & Research (HEAR) and is a Program Director/Mentor for nonprofit Realizing Every Action Creates Hope (REACH). Jennifer graduated from UCSC in March 2019 with a bachelors in Community Studies with a concentration in employment for adults with disabilities.
Unusual’s holistic approach to close major diversity gaps in Tech really stood out to me. I was impressed by the team’s willingness to disrupt an industry that has been solely focused on ‘success through numbers’ and the realization that there is so much more to a successful company than their output of a product.
I had to get 12 stitches when I was younger because I was playing a mean game of “Ring Around the Rosie.”
